The brothers Martin and Andreas Brugger, together with their cousin Franzjosef Höllwarth, who replaced cousin Manfred Höllwarth, have been on stage for more than 25 years. There's nothing that could separate the three. What fits, fits and stays together. Why change things, if it is exactly the continuity that makes it.
The Ursprung Buam are something like a buoy in the wild waters of the folk music scene. If it's going on left and right, the line-ups change, groups are founded and disappear again, sounds are tried out, fashions change... all the same, Martin, Andreas and Franzjosef don't care. Ziacha, fiddle, guitar and harp, plus Martin's unique voice, that's all it takes to bring every hall, every party, every tent to a boil.
Folkloric remains folkloric. Polka, Waltz, Boarischer... who needs Fox to dance?
