Whether you are an amateur or professional athlete, conquering the 30km route with an impressive 3,484 altitude metres is sure to get your adrenaline flowing.

The starting gun for all runners is at 5.30am. Then the race for the quickest time is on. The route leads from Ginzling through the Floitental valley, ascending up to the Mörchnerscharte, which is the highest point of the trail. After this exhausting ascent of 1,870 altitude metres, the descent begins. Past the Schwarzsee lake and the Berliner Hut, you will run down through the Zemm Valley until you reach the finish line at the Gasthaus Breitlahner. Made it!
On the way, you will pass several refreshment stalls, where you can top up your energy levels to make it to the end. Watch out for the check-in points along the route which every participant needs to pass to make sure they qualify in the rankings. Whatever your finishing position, completing this challenging test of endurance is a victory in itself.
