Fascination snow and ice
Glaciers are and will remain a natural attraction of a very special kind. No matter what time of year you see, visit or walk on a glacier, you will always be impressed again and again. Especially this year, the phenomena of the glacier can be seen well. Since it is currently very slippery, we adapt our tour to the current conditions and watch the glacier from the viewing platforms. Our nature park guide explains the clearly visible phenomena of the glacier.
Climate change is taking its toll and causing all Alpine glaciers to melt. What was the situation like this spring? Why does the Sahara sand on the glaciers also play a big role?
Our nature park guide will explain the clearly visible phenomena of the glacier: crevasses, moraines, glacial striations etc. and will also look back with you to the ice age.
